1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using ResumeAI, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

ResumeAI provides AI-powered resume tailoring, interview preparation, job search aggregation, and related career tools. The service is provided "as is." AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies — always review output before submitting job applications.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits is prohibited.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to create false or misleading resume content (fabricating jobs, degrees, or credentials you do not hold).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API.
• Use automated tools to make requests beyond the documented rate limits.
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on third-party rights.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

• Free plan: subject to daily usage limits. Limits may change with notice.
• Paid plans: billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are displayed at checkout.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the billing date.
• No refunds for partial billing periods. You retain access until the end of the paid period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Intellectual Property

You own the resumes and content you upload. You grant us a limited license to process your content to provide the service. AI-generated output (tailored resumes, interview questions) belongs to you. ResumeAI's software, branding, and design remain our property.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

ResumeAI does not guarantee job placement outcomes. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as required by applicable law.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except you may bring claims in small claims court.
